DisPatch
DisPatch is a five year security subscription for HMIs and other Windows® based systems. It enables best practices - such as systematic backups and regular distribution of operating system (OS), antivirus, and third-party software updates and patches - and helps facilitate compliance to regulatory standards. The solution is deployed individually to each system via update disks.
Subscription Details
Five year subscriptions are ordered per HMI. The DisPatch plan comes with 9 x 5 phone support and includes:

DisPatch Binder (One 3-ring binder per site, per update cycle)
The DisPatch Binder contains important information about the components of the system as well as user guides and storage sleeves for Update and Backup DVDs. For customers who choose the Compliance Documentation option, the DisPatch Binder will also include hard copies of this information.

Operating System Updates (One DVD per HMI, per update cycle)
Update kits contain a DVD with OS security patches that have been tested on a “like system” in a non-production validation lab.

Security Applications and Updates (One DVD per HMI, per update cycle)
At the initial DisPatch purchase, FoxGuard ships two validated security software applications:

Antivirus
Each update kit includes a disk with new, validated antivirus definitions.

Host Intrusion Detection (HIDS)
The disk also provides tested HIDS signatures.

Backup Solution
FoxGuard provides a backup application and storage device. Backups should be performed prior to installing updates and stored securely with controlled access.

Third Party Product Validation and Updates
FoxGuard can validate and maintain updates for third-party software (e.g. Microsoft® Office, Adobe® Acrobat®, etc.) upon request. Because of the variety of products available, this is a customized service that is quoted case-by-case. Learn More
