Acceptance Testing

FoxGuard supports customer requirements for factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs) of its solutions. FATs are typically hosted by the control system vendor using simulators, while SATs are performed on-site on a production system that has been taken offline. These tests are often the final checkpoint before deployment.

Integrated Factory Acceptance Tests (IFATs)

For large scale roll outs or changes, FoxGuard can host an integrated factory acceptance test (IFAT) to assist an end user with the proper testing of the integration of their security solutions with either a single vendor or multiple vendors. Held in the secure FoxGuard testing lab, the IFAT is used to validate the security configuration, security communications, firewall settings, and basic security feature usage in a non-production environment.
